10G XFP ZR Transceiver 1550nm SMF 80km LC DOM
Description
This 10G-XFP-ZR transceiver module is a dual fiber 10G Form-factor Pluggable XFP transceiver module, it provides 10Gb/s throughput up to 80km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1550nm wavelength.
The 10G XFP ZR module consists of two sections: a cooled EML transmitter and an APD photodetector, all modules satisfy class 1 laser safety requirements.
A serial EEPROM in the 10G XFP ZR transceiver allows the user to access transceiver monitoring and configuration data via the 2-wire XFP Management Interface. This interface uses a single address, A0h, with a memory map divided into a lower and upper area. Basic digital diagnostic (DOM) data is held in the lower area while specific data is held in a series of tables in the high memory area.
This 10G XFP ZR is fully compliant with the current Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) Specification, 10-Gigabit Ethernet 10GBASE-ZR/ZW per IEEE 802.3ae and 10G Fiber Channel.
