Description
The GIGAOPTO's GTS-L1502-80DC transceiver operates on ordinary SMF link spans up to 80km long, supporting dual data-rate of 155Mbps using a wavelength of 1550nm via an LC connector. It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. This 100BASE-ZX SFP module is designed for applications in duplex optical data communications such as Fast Ethernet and OC-3/STM-1 SDH/SONET.
The transmitter section uses a multiple quantum well 1550nm DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.
The transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472. For further information, please refer to SFP MSA.
