Description
This 16GFC SFP+ LW optical transceiver modules are designed to support 4G/8G/16G Fibre Channel (FC), suitable for storage area network (SAN) links up to 10km over single mode fiber.
The transceiver consists of three sections: a DFB laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety and RoHS requirements.
It complies with Small Form Factor Pluggable Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) SFF-8431 Rev. 4.1 and SFF-8472 Rev.11.0.
