Description
 
The GIGAOPTO's GTS-B5312-10DC optical transceiver is a hot-pluggable SFP bi-directional (BiDi) module for Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-BX and Fiber Channel single fiber applications by using 1310nm/1550nm transmitter and 1550nm/1310nm receiver. This 1.25G BiDi SFP module provides 10km of 1000Base-BX throughput over a single strand of single-mode fiber using 1550nm-TX/1310nm-RX wavelengths via LC simplex connectors.
 
The 1000BASE-BX BiDi SFP transceiver supports digital optical monitoring (DOM) functions according to the industry-standard SFF-8472 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). This feature gives the end user the ability to monitor real-time parameters of the SFP, such as optical output power, optical input power, temperature and transceiver supply voltage.
