Description of Digital Video 3G CWDM SFP 1270nm~1610nm 40km Transceiver Series
This 3G-SDI CWDM SFP Transceiver Module is designed for dual-channel transmit/receive data rates from 50Mbps to 2.97Gbps and is specifically designed for robust performance in the presence of SDI pathological patterns for SMPTE259M, SMPTE 344M, SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 424M serial rates,the maximum transmission distance can reach up to 40km over single-mode fiber(SMF) with duplex LC connector.
This module operates at a nominal wavelength of CWDM wavelength. There are eighteen center wavelengths available from 1270nm to 1610nm, with each step 20nm, this helps the customer to increase the bandwidth of an existing video optical infrastructure without adding new fiber strands
The transceiver consists of three sections: a DFB laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.
It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C.
The module is fully compliant with SMPTE 297M-2006.
