Products Description of 12G-SDI SFP+ BiDi Dual Transmitters Modules
Gigaopto's 12G-SDI SFP+ BiDi 2Tx dual-transmitter optical module is designed for 12G-SDI video broadcast network links reach up to 10km over Single-Mode Fiber (SMF), transmitting two lanes of 12G-SDI video signals.
The transmitter module is compliant with SMPTE ST 2082-1 (12G UHD-SDI), ST 2081-1 (6G UHD-SDI), ST424 (3G SDI), ST 292-1 (HD-SDI), and ST259 (SD-SDI).
It is with the SFP+ 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C. It uses two 1310 nm multiple quantum well DFB lasers and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. A maximum distance of 10 km is achievable with 12Gbps pathological signals.
