Description
The GIGAOPTO's GTS-L1503-80DC optical transceiver is a dual fiber 155Mbps Small Form-factor Pluggable module for duplex optical data communications such as Fast Ethernet, SDH STM-1 and SONET OC-3 LR-2 Network. SFP OC3-LR2 provides 155Mb/s throughput up to 80km over single-mode fiber (SMF) at a nominal wavelength of 1550nm. The transmitter section uses a 1550nm DFB laser that is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses a high-speed InGaAs PIN photodiode (PD) and trans-impedance preamplifier.
This 155Mbp/s OC-3/STM-1 LR-2 SFP transceiver is fully compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), SFF-8472 and SONET OC-3 LR-2 standard.
