Description
The GCS-B3296-B2396-20DC transceiver is a small form factor pluggable module for bi-directional serial optical data communications such as IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-BX by using 1270/1330 nm transmitter and 1330/1270 nm receiver.
This CSFP+ Transceiver is fully compliant with the compact Small Form-Factor Pluggable (CSFP) MSA option 2 for 10GBASE-LR and Fiber Channel, allowing two independent bidirectional channels per port.
It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability.Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C interface as specified in the MSA SFF-8472.
