Description

 

The GCS-B2396-B3296-20DC transceiver is compliant with the compact Small Form-Factor Pluggable (CSFP) MSA option 2 for 10GBASE-LR and Fiber Channel, allowing two independent bidirectional channels per port.

For channel one, it features a 1270nm DFB transmitter and 1330n receiver.

For channel two, it features a 1330nm DFB transmitter and 1270nm receiver.

Each channel supports 10Gbps throughput and link up to 20km over single mode fiber with an LC interface.

It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability.No damage to C-SFP+ and host board if C-SFP+ module is plugged into a conventional SFP socket. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C interface as specified in the MSA SFF-8472.

The transceiver is fully compatible with Compact SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and CE/RoHS certificated.
