Description
The GCS-B3524-B3524-20C is compatible with the Compact Small Form- Factor Pluggable (CSFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) option 2, allowing to establish two separate Gigabit Ethernet links, each operating over one Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) optical cable,which supports 2.5Gbps throughput with a max transmission of 20km with LC interface.
For each separate data lane this transceiver unit uses a top quality DFB Laser transmitter with operating at nominal wavelength 1310nm and a 1550nm PIN Photodiode receiver. All module satisfy class 1 laser safety requirements.
It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C interface as specified in the MSA SFF-8472.
