Description
This GCS-B3412-B3412-40C is a CSFP (Compact SFP) transceiver where both ports are bi-directional, i.e. providing
double capacity as compared to normal BiDi transceivers where one port is not used. This requires that the host equipment support CSFP transceivers.
It supports 1244Mbps throughput and 40km transmission distance with SMF. For each port, the transceiver unit consists of three sections: a DFB laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.
