Description
The GIGAOPTO's GT9-S5312-40x series are high-performance and cost-effective single mode Bi-Directional (BiDi) 1×9 optical transceivers for serial optical communication applications such as Gigabit Ethernet and 1x Fibre Channel that require data rates of 1.25Gbps. This module is designed for single-mode fiber and operates at wavelengths of 1550nm on transmitter side and 1310nm on receiver side.The transmitter section uses a DFB laser diode and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety StandardIEC-825. The receiver section uses an integrated 1310nm detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical headerand a limiting post-amplifier IC. A PECL logic interfacesimplifies interface to external circuitry.
