Description
The GIGAOPTO's GT9-S5312-20x series single mode transceivers are low power, high performance modules for bi-directional serial optical data communications of data rate below 1.25Gbps such Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel.
The transceiver provides a 20km transmission distance over a single strand of single-mode fiber. The transmitter incorporates a highly reliable 1550nm DFB (or 1310nm FP) Laser and a driver circuit which converts PECL data to light signal. The receiver incorporates an efficient 1310nm (or 1550nm) PIN photo-diode converting the light signal into an electrical current which is amplified and regenerated into PECL compatible data.
