Description
The GIGAOPTO's GT9-S5303-20x series 1x9 single-mode transceivers are low power, high performance modules for bi-directional serial optical data communications such as ATM 155Mb/s and Fast Ethernet. The BiDi 1×9 transceivers provide 20km transmission distance over a single strand of single-mode fiber using 1550nm transmitter and 1310nm receiver.
The transmitter section uses a multiple quantum well laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses an integrated detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.
A PECL logic interface simplifies interface to the external circuitry.
