Description
The GIGAOPTO's GT9-L1512-40x series are high performance and cost-effective fiber optical transceiver modules for high-speed communication applications such as 1000Base Gigabit Ethernet and 1x Fibre channel. This 1x9 transceiver supports the maximum data rate of 1.25Gb/s for single-mode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 1550nm.
The transmitter section uses a multiple quantum well DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC. A PECL logic interface simplifies interface to the external circuitry.
