Description Of Cisco QSFP-40G-SR4 Compatible Transceiver

This Cisco QSFP-40G-SR4 Compatible transceiver is designed for use in 40Gigabit Ethernet applications over multimode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 850nm, reaching a link up to 150m over OM4 MMF (100m over OM3) via a 12 Fibers MTP/MPO Male connector.

This Cisco QSFP-40G-SR4 Compatible module is compliant with QSFP+ MSA, IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4 and breakout to 4x10GBASE-SR standard.

It is with the QSFP+ 38-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. Digital diagnostics functions are available via an I2C interface, including Tx and Rx power monitoring.

This Cisco QSFP-40G-SR4 Compatible transceiver is equivalent to the Cisco original module, excellent interoperation with Cisco QSFP+ port optical transport devices such as Cisco Nexus 2000 Series, Nexus 3000 Series, Nexus 5000 Series, Nexus 5600 Series, Nexus 6000 Series, Nexus 7000 Series, Nexus 9000 Series, etc.
