Description Of Cisco SFP-10G-BX80U Compatible Transceiver
This Cisco SFP-10G-BX80U compatible transceiver is designed expressly for long-reach communication applications that require rates up to 11.1Gb/s.
This bi-directional SFP-10G-BX80U transceiver consists of a high-performance class 1 laser safety 1490nm cooled EML and a high sensitivity 1550nm APD Photodiode integrated with a TIA. A maximum transmission distance is up to 80km over a standard G.652 single-mode fiber.
This SFP-10G-BX80U fiber transceiver module is fully compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and the IEEE 802.3ae standard.
Digital diagnostic functions are available through a 2-wire serial interface(DDMI), as specified in SFF-8472, which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.
