This 10GE SFP+ BIDI Cisco SFP-10G-BX40D compatible transceiver module features a highly reliable 1330nm DFB transmitter and 1270nm PIN photo-detector into LC Simplex optical connector, which is designed for long reach 10Gb/s duplex optical data communications application such as 10GBASE-ER/EW defined by IEEE 802.3ae. It is with the SFP+ 20-pin connector to allow hot-plug capability.

They are compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and the IEEE 802.3ae standard. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472.

Featuring low power consumption and high speed, this SFP-10G-BX40D transceiver is ideal for data centers, 10G Ethernet, etc.
