Description

This Cisco SFP-10G-LR compatible optical transceiver is designed for use in 10 Gigabit Ethernet and max links up to 10km over single mode fiber (SMF) with an LC duplex connector.

The SFP-10G-LR transceiver consists of two sections: the transmitter section uses a 1310nm multiple quantum well DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825, the receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.

Digital optical monitoring (DOM) capability enables diagnostic monitoring through a two-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472.

This SFP-10G-LR Cisco optical module is programmed to be compatible with a wide range of Cisco network equipment such as Cisco 3100 WS series, Cisco 4500 WS series, Cisco 4900 series, Cisco 5700 Air series, Cisco 6000, Cisco 6800 series, Cisco C6800 series, Cisco Nexus 2000 series, Cisco Nexus 3000 series, Cisco Nexus 5000 series, Cisco Nexus 7000 series, Cisco Nexus 9000 series, Cisco WS-C2960S series, Cisco WS-C3560E series, Cisco UCS series and etc.
