Description

This 10GBASE-BX80-D SFP BiDi transceiver is hot pluggable Small-Form-Factor SFP+ Bi-directional transceiver module, which is designed for long reach 10Gb/s optical data communication application. The maximum transmission can link up to 80km over standard 9/125um single mode fiber with simplex LC receptacle.

The 10G SFP+ BIDI ZR transceiver consists of two sections: The transmitter section uses a multiple quantum well 1330nm DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses an integrated 1270nm detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.

This bidirectional transceiver module is fully compliant with SFF-8431,SFF-8432 and the IEEE 802.3ae standard. Digital diagnostic functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface(DDMI), as specified in SFF-8472,which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.

Featuring low power consumption and high speed, this 10G SFP+ ZR BIDI transceiver is ideal for data center, 10G Ethernet, SONET OC-192/SDH and Fiber Channel etc.
