Description
The BIDI SFP+ eLR transceiver is small form factor pluggable module for duplex optical data communications such as 10GBASE-LR/LW defined by IEEE 802.3ae.It provides to transmit and receive serial optical data links up to 20km over single strand SMF.
The 10GBASE-BX10-U-20 SFP BiDi transceiver consists of two sections:The transmitter section uses a multiple quantum well 1270nm DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses an integrated 1330nm detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.
Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472.
Featuring low power consumption and high speed, this 10G BIDI SFP+ transceiver is ideal for data center, 10G Ethernet etc.
