Description

Gigaopto’s GTS-L0896-02MC is dual rate SFP+ optical transceiver module designed for use in 1G and 10G Ethernet links over MMF fiber cable.

It is compliant with SFF-8431, IEEE 802.3-2012 10GBASE-SR/SW and 1000BASE-SX. Digital diagnostic functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472,which allows real-time access to device operating parameters such as transceiver temperature, laser bias current, transmitted optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.

Host board designers should follow the IC manufacturer's recommended settings for interoperability with an SFP+ limiting module. This product is for applications specifically designed for 10G SFP+ ports and 1G/10GSFP+ ports and not native 1G SFP ports.

This dual rate 10G SR/1G SX transceiver is fully compliant with RoHs and CE/FCC certificated.
