40G Passive Direct Attach Copper Breakout Cable for Date Center/Fiber Channel
Description
This GD-Q10-4S10-0P5M is a passive fan-out copper direct attach cable with one QSFP+ end and four SFP+ 10G ends.
This DAC Cable provides short distance (same shelf) inexpensive connectivity at up to 40G rates. It operates 4 independent 10G channels using the QSFP connector footprint on one end and 4 independent SFP+ transceivers of 10Gbps each on the other end. Each of the four channels can operate at multi-rate speeds Gigabit to 10G (1 Gbps to 10.3125Gbps).
This breakout cable is compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SFF-8472 SFP+ MSA, SFF-8436 QSFP+ MSA standards.
The 40G Direct Attach cables is suitable for cost-effective close-range interconnections within the equipment room of telecom operators or data centers, etc.
