Description
The GIGAOPTO's GTS-L1306-15DC transceiver is a high-performance small form factor pluggable single mode module for 622Mbps SONET OC-12 and SDH STM-4 Intermediate Reach (IR-1) application. SFP OC12-IR1 provides 622Mb/s throughput up to 15km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1310nm wavelength.
OC-12 or STM-4 is a network line with transmission speeds of up to 622.08 Mbit/s. The 622Mbps SFP transceiver consists of the below sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the digital diagnostic monitor, the 1310nm FP laser and the PIN photo-detector.
This OC-12/STM-4 IR-1 SFP transceiver is a Class 1 laser product that complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards, and fully compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SONET OC-12 IR-1 standard.
