Description
This QSFP28 PSM4-S compatible optical fiber transceiver is a parallel 103.1Gbps Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable QSFP28 module for use in 100GBASE Ethernet.
It offers 4 independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of 25Gb/s operation for an aggregate data rate of 100Gb/s and supports 500m optical link over parallel G.652 single-mode fiber. The QSFP28 PSM4 optical transceiver uses a 12 fiber MTP (MPO) connector on the optical interface and uses an MSA-compliant 38-pin edge type connector on the electrical interface.
This transceiver is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE-PSM4 standard. Digital diagnostic functions are also available via an I2C interface (TWI/I2C), as specified by the QSFP28 MSA, to allow access to real-time operating parameters. With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable transceiver is widely applied in data centers, campus networks, enterprise core layers, etc.
