Description
Gigaopto’s CFP-100G-ER4 optical transceiver module is designed for 100GBASE-ER4 Ethernet and OTN OTU4 links reach up to 40km over SMF via a duplex LC connector.
The module has 10 independent electrical input/output channels, and the operating speed of each channel is up to 11Gbps.
The CFP optical transceiver consists of transmitter and receiver units and operates on a set of 4 wavelengths near 1310nm on the ITU G.694.1 LAN-WDM grid. The transmitter unit contains a 10:4 Gearbox, a 4-channel modulator driver and a 4-channel EML. On the receiver path, there is one VOA+SOA component, a 4-channel PIN array and a 4-channel TIA array, as well as Gearbox.
The CFP ER4 transceiver is fully compliant with CFP MSA, 100GBASE-ER4, CE, Class 1 FDA and IEC60825-1 Laser Safety Compliant, IEEE 802.3ba, RoHS, SFF-8431 requirements.
