Description
Gigaopto’s GTQ-M13A4-10DC optical transceiver modules are a four-channel, pluggable, parallel, fiber-optic QSFP+ Transceiver for InfiniBand QDR/DDR/SDR, 10G/8G/4G/2G fiber channel, PCIe and SAS Applications.
The 40GBASE 4X10G-LR full-duplex optical module offers 4 independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of 11.1Gbps operation for an aggregate data rate of 40Gbps throughput up to 10km using single mode fiber. These modules are designed to operate over single mode fiber systems using 1310nm DFB laser array. An optical fiber cable with an MPO/MTP connector can be plugged into the QSFP module receptacle.
QSFP+ PSM4 is one kind of parallel transceiver which provides increased port density and total system cost savings.
It is suitable to be used in various applications, such as data centers, high-performance computing networks, enterprise core and distribution layer applications.
Note: If this transceiver needs to be used to break out one 40G signal into 4x 10G signals, the interface of the device is required to support the breakout feature.
