Description:
This 10GBASE-T SFP+ Copper transceiver GTS-T0096-03 provides 10GBase-T throughput up to 30m over cat.6a/cat.7 copper cable via RJ-45 connector.
It is compliant with the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and 10GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T, 1000BASE-T standards as specified in IEEE STD 802.3an, 802.3ab and 802.3au. The 10G copper SFP+ transceiver allows IT designers and data center professionals to extend the distance of 10GbE Ethernet links over an existing copper cabling infrastructure. The copper module provides convenience, flexibility and cost savings for deploying 10Gb/s technology over balanced twisted-pair copper cabling.More importantly, the 10G RJ45 SFP+ transceiver automates interoperability with legacy Ethernet devices and backward compatible with legacy 1000Base-T networks.
Each SFP+ copper transceiver module is individually tested to be used on a series of switches, routers, servers, network interface card (NICs) etc. Featuring low power consumption, high bandwidth, this easy to install, hot swappable 10G SFP+ transceiver is ideal for enterprise networking for LAN applications and different other networking places using copper connections.

Plug Seq.: Pin engagement sequence during hot plugging.
1. TX Fault is an open collector output, which should be pulled up with a 4.7k~10kΩ resistor on the host board to a voltage between 2.0V and Vcc+0.3V. Logic 0 indicates normal operation; Logic 1 indicates a laser fault of some kind. In the low state, the output will be pulled to less than 0.8V.
2. Laser output disabled on TDIS >2.0V or open, enabled on TDIS <0.8V.
3. LOS is open collector output. Should be pulled up with 4.7k~10kΩ on host board to a voltage between 2.0V and 3.6V. Logic 0 indicates normal operation; logic 1 indicates loss of signal.
4. RD-/+: These are the differential receiver outputs. They are internally AC-coupled 100 differential lines which should be terminated with 100Ω (differential) at the user SERDES.
5. TD-/+: These are the differential transmitter inputs. They are internally AC-coupled, differential lines with 100Ω differential termination inside the module.
